Can a disk brake be mounted on any bicycle front wheel?
Q. I need to get a front wheel for my bicycle, since the old one was stolen. From an earlier question, I found out that information regarding the disk brake (6" or 160mm). However, I do not know if every front wheel (26") can accept a disk brake?

A. there are little holes in forks you need to have on a bicycle to mount the brake caliper on to. this does not come on all forks because disk brakes are no more than a fsd that can send you over the handlebars if you like. There are also special wheels that accept a brake rotor, do you have alot of money you do not really need? Changing your bike to take dick brakes is expencive if you are not the handy type that fixes thing yourself you are going to spend alot of money to accomplish this feat
